Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The tablets I’m requesting will open a world of possibilities for my students by supporting Individualized Learning because students will be able to use apps and programs tailored to their unique needs.

These tablets will help my students work at their own pace, reinforcing concepts they struggle with and challenging them where they excel.

Many of my students face communication barriers and these tablets are equipped with speech-to-text and visual communication tools will give them a voice and empower them to express themselves. Additionally, the interactive and sensory-friendly tools on tablets will keep my students motivated and excited about learning. Technology is vital in today’s world. These tablets will teach my students digital literacy, giving them skills that extend beyond the classroom.

My goals for this project are to:

1. Equip my classroom with tablets to ensure every student has access to technology during lessons.

2. Foster a love for learning by making lessons more interactive and accessible.

3. Enhance my students’ independence by teaching them how to use technology to solve problems, communicate, and learn.

4. Strengthen inclusion by using technology that meets the diverse needs of my classroom.

My students are incredible individuals with unique learning profiles, strengths, and dreams. They face challenges with courage and determination, finding creative ways to learn and grow every day. Many of them require additional support, but their potential is limitless when given the right tools.

Public school funding often falls short of providing the resources my students need. Your support will bridge that gap and make a tangible difference in their lives.
