Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me build a sensational sensory classroom complete with manipulatives and toys that will support the academic needs of my students and help build their literacy and math skills. I have 6 neurodivergent students with different needs and interests. They are cognitively gifted and to enhance their skills they need adequate supplies.

The list we wish to have fulfilled will:

1. Create an energy outlet for the students.

2. Help with concentration.

3. Build math and fine motor skills.

4. Build executive functioning skills (attention, response inhibition, organization).

5. Help students identify emotions.

6. Provide turn-taking opportunities.

7. Support communication.

8. Serve as ideal activities for independent work.
