Offering teachers and students the freedom to choose their learning space cultivates a sense of ownership and empowerment. In our outdoor classroom, students will have the opportunity to experience a different learning environment. Picnic tables provide a simple space outside the classroom where students can comfortably listen and learn. Whether seated around the table, perched with clipboards beneath it, or sprawled out, these outdoor spots offer flexibility for both teachers and students throughout the school day.

Beyond the traditional classroom, the outdoor setting offers many benefits for our students. Students will not only thrive in their chosen seating at the picnic tables but also gain from the inherent advantages of outdoor learning. Engaging with nature fosters creativity, improves focus, and promotes a deeper connection with the subject matter. The freedom to learn amidst the sights and sounds of the outdoors creates enthusiasm, sparking curiosity and inspiring a greater sense of exploration and discovery.
Witnessing the positive influence of time spent outdoors during the school day, we are excited to give students more opportunities to learn outdoors with this outdoor picnic table space. By incorporating these additional seating options, I envision an even more enriched learning experience for all.
