This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me turn my classroom into a nature-based learning environment. I want to create an inviting classroom that promotes a calm, safe, and effective learning space.

I want to ensure our classroom is as welcoming as possible.

The former school I worked at recently closed down and we will be moving to a new school in the district. The items I requested will ensure that the students feel safe, calm, loved, and not overwhelmed by the change in schools.

The artificial trees and animal-print rug will create a calm setting and ensure a comfortable learning space. Other classroom accents will excite the students and give children an incentive to come back to the classroom every day, with attendance rates at an all-time high!!
