My Project

My students are curious about the world they live in! Full of questions and suggestions, they are excited to discover new things. I love to hear the collective oohs, aahs, giggles, and ewws when we have our STEM discovery moments. My students are inspired and awed by the world during those times. And I want to give them more.

The natural world is full of lessons to engage little learners.

This project is about giving them the tools to access it. If I could, I would but my budget is.....exhausted.

With your help, I envision my students empowered with handheld microscopes to examine close-up what they see outside. I envision them excited to bring items into the classroom for further study, classification, and comparison. The students would be able to use the tools of science to try to answer their own questions about what they see.

Engaging my students with scientific inquiry and writing this project is a part of my contribution toward creating future scientists, researchers, and problem-solvers. What is yours? Donating to this project is one way to contribute.
