My Project

My First-grade student scientists will take on the role of aquarium and bird sanctuary scientists to advocate for and teach visitors to their zoo about how turtles and birds survive in their environments.

My students will study the habitats of specific turtles and birds and then construct an aquarium and bird sanctuary to teach others about what these animals need to survive in their habitats.

Students will need the materials (legos, model animals, birds etc) to create their habitats. Students also need a classroom pencil sharpener, measuring cups, a Mini Bulletin Board set, laminating packets to continue their learning.

Supporting this project will ensure that they are able to meet this goal.
