My Project

Our class LOVES going to nearby Prospect Park for our nature days. When we are out in the park we are learning science, exercising our bodies and minds, collaborating, taking risks and building confidence.

There are materials in this project that will encourage further creativity and investigations outdoors including all-weather magnifying glasses, hearty buckets and scoopers, fabric for fort building, and trucks for digging and carrying.

There are also a few items to extend this type of learning in the classroom including new puzzles, play dirt and a shadow match game.

The wagon we use to carry our things on our journeys recently broke. The new wagon will make it easier to carry everything we need because it has all-terrain wheels and a push bar. We also have some students who need a larger size Muddy Buddy to be comfortable exploring on rainy days.

All of these items are so important to our learning and we appreciate your support!
