My Project

When you think of Native American, Indigenous, and First Person's cuisine do you think about Fry Bread? Like many Americans, the foodways of the First Peoples have been significantly lost to history, but that is changing. By supporting this project, Native and Indigenous students can become familiar with contemporary recipes, food sovereignty, and environmental sustainability practices. In this program, we seek to give our students hands-on experiences that enable their individuality, creativity, and exploration of their Native/Indigenous heritage.

Gift our Native and Indigenous students accessibility to contemporary recipes that blend traditional and modern foodways.
