My Project

My students would love to improve our reading block by reading about the topics we learn in social studies. Help us transform our guided reading block to a more content-based literacy block filled with vocabulary-rich books that provide us with more background knowledge about the topics we are learning about. My students love our small reading groups, but we would love texts that fit better with our curriculum.

You can help enhance our literacy block with books about Native Americans.

Students would love four books to choose from that align with our next social studies unit about the Haudenosaunee. These books will add so much enjoyment and enrichment into our lives.
