My Students

My classroom is a place of learning, exploration, acceptance and fun. It is where we grow our social, emotional, and academic skills. Kindergarten is full of mystery and discovery.

I strive to make my class a magical place with high expectations, low risk, and engaged learning.

My students are valued, respected and appreciated every day. Each one of them is their own unique universe full of ideas, passions, and wonder.

My passion is being a teacher. I make sure my students know how important they are to me daily. In my classroom quality experiences, democracy, growth mindset, and kindness are the most important parts of our day—these components of our classroom help foster a strong foundation for the life long learners my students will be.

My Project

National Board Certification would give me an opportunity to grow as a teacher and become the best possible teacher I can be for my students. I am requesting assistance for the fees associated with two of the four components of the National Boards, and the registration fees. I know that NBCT certification is the highest certificate a teacher can obtain—and my students are worth it! If there is one thing I teach my students each day its to make sure to fall in love with learning new things. This adventure for me would be an exercise in practicing what I preach to my amazing students.
