This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students want to get in shape and learn how to balance in a fun way!

My students deserve the same quality physical education program as the kids in the suburbs.

School's budgets are really tight in our city these days, and I want my students to have the best physical education program I can possibly give them. My goal is to make Physical Education a priority, not an option.

My Project

I have requested six jump ropes and six inflatable stability pads. The jump ropes will be used almost every day for warm-up activities, fitness stations and other jumping lessons to built coordination and cardiovascular endurance. The stability circles will be used in obstacle courses and various relay races that emphasize balance.

My students have been begging me for better quality jump ropes and I personally believe that these jump ropes are safer because of the material they are made of.

In the past I had plastic jump ropes and the moment the rope hit some students they didn't want to try it anymore. The stability circles will greatly improve my students' balance starting from a young age. My students will enjoy using these in games and obstacles courses while learning how to stabilize their bodies.
