Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a self-contained specialized class with classifications of both autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. They struggle at times when they have to answer questions during a lesson or when they come to the front of the room to share their writing. They generally speak in a very low tone.

The Takstar 2 in 1 Bluetooth Wireless Microphone and Voice Amplifier will assist them in having more of an inside voice so that all their peers and teachers can hear them clearly.

The lined post-its ( taking notes ), iPad chargers (so they have a charged device for educational programs), and highlighters ( highlight facts in a passage) will assist the students while they are working on their ELA and math assignments.
