My Students

You can lose your family, job, money, shelter, but you can't ever lose your knowledge... This is something I have been telling my students since their freshman year. They have gained a profound knowledge in high school and it is our hope that they will continue this growth in college.

We are a part of a heartfelt wonderful new school in an inner-city.

This involves much determination and dedication to be a part of establishing a new school, for both the staff and students. What our school lacks in resources, we make up for in our hearts, inspiration and devotion to the learning environment and success as a community. These students face much hardships in their lives, but despite these setbacks, they are determined to attend a four year college.

My Project

If all two hundred 10th and 11th grade students at my school were given the opportunity to have a class copy of SAT preparatory books to study from, they would be able to have the same opportunity to go to college as any other student in the United States. Every year, over two million students take the SATs. Universities rely on the SAT scores for academic success in college. By giving my students an opportunity to prepare for the SATs it will play a huge part in helping to determine what college they will attend and what kind of future they will have. If there were ever a test they need to do well on, it's the SAT.

Your help will not only ensure my students success in preparing for the SATs, but also you will give them a future that they have only dreamed of having.

As Benjamin Franklin once said “Failing to practice is practicing to fail” This is their only hope to practice for the SATs and have college in their future.
