My Students

This year, I teach an ICT class of 25 fifth graders. Many of my students have special needs and receive related services. My school is in a changing neighborhood in New York City.

My students are intelligent and eager to learn.

In this very uncertain time, my students are entering their final year of Elementary school. Some of my students have opted for remote learning while others have opted for a blended learning model. Weather learning in the classroom or at home, technology is a vital component to the success of each and every learner that is in my class this year.

My Project

During this unprecedented time in learning, I would like to be able to give my students educational experiences which feel natural and normal. For most of my students, this sense of ease comes with technology. Many students are tech savvy and enjoy learning on their computers, tablets or through interactive video games. During remote learning last year, I did the best job that I could in providing virtual experiences that would interest my students.

Wouldn't you have loved to have a teacher who was passionate about making learning a fun and rewarding experience?

An Apple iPad, the Apple pencil and case will help me to do just that! My students will be able to learn in ways that they never knew possible! There are so many incredible apps and programs that we can use on the iPad, whether we are learning together, in person, or virtually.
