My Students Are Multiplying!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My ELL students have benefitted from a project I created that was funded at the end of last school year. Since September, my caseload has almost doubled! My groups now are larger than before, and there aren't enough materials for every student to successfully create words and participate in activities.

These extra boards and word blocks will ensure that each and every student will have the chance to equally participate, making them all successful.

The word mapping boards also provide a strong visual to assist them in learning to read and write. This will benefit children from many different backgrounds and abilities.
