My Project

During my speech sessions I am working on vocabulary, grammar skills, listening and comprehension. And do you know a great way to do that?? It is reading and talking about the stories together!!! According to research, conversations and reading aloud helps account for most of the vocabulary exposure for students. With your help, my library will grow with some fun books. Students today have more access to screens, holding a book and encouraging the students to look through the pages as we discuss the pictures and the texts can help counteract the negative impact of screens.

I can read these stories aloud with students from kindergarten through the upper grades to meet a variety of their IEP goals.
