My Project

One thing I love about my children is the amount of love I feel for them, even with a language barrier. What makes every child special is their unique character strength and abilities that allow them to express their individuality in a social environment.

The "My Space" calm area will help my students feel safe, loved, and supported when certain situations get too overwhelming for them to process throughout their day, for example: the calming tent will provide a boundary to help children feel safe.

Children will learn to built from their strength through books, stuff animals, and nightlight projector. With that said, my students are learning to calm themselves down throughout the day with these activities.
