Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's Prek that sets the foundation for the rest of their scholastic careers. It is extremely important to provide a safe, loving, learning environment that the children would like to come back to.

In Prek we learn to read and write and that takes a lot of dry erase markers.

Although the parents have provided some at the beginning of the year, we have gone through them. My room is very small and the cubbies and seat sacks will help to store some of their work including backpacks and blankets.

I have purchased most, if not all, of the supplies, arts and crafts, posters, carpets, furniture and much, much more, 90% out of pocket.

Most of the parents can't afford most of these items, so instead of putting the pressure on the parents, I try to make sure that all the children have these items.

Your donations will help me bring a smile to that child and make them feel equal.
