My Own Things!

Help me give my students their own personal storage options. Entering the classroom with no community supplies, these storage boxes will hold their workbooks, notebooks and pencil/crayon boxes. These can be kept in cubbies or under seats.

My Students

My students are amazing, loving, smart little people who happen to reside in a very volatile, dangerous, crime ridden area of north St. Louis and who's day at school may be their only positive interactions throughout the day. No matter how rough their day at school may have been, they still want a hug from me as their teacher, and that is when I know I am making a difference.

These beautiful little people come to school every day ready to learn but need a safe, hazard free classroom environment and tools and materials to help that happen.

Most reside in high stress living conditions and neighborhoods. They deserve every wonderful experience and learning opportunity I can provide.

As a public charter school, we make a lot happen with very little and it is our goal to make it to the finish of the school year as a team!

My Project

SAFE and healthy are the goals! With in school learning the plan, we need a safe place to keep students supplies and individualize their areas. Keeping books and supplies separate and individualized will be key in stopping the spread of germs. These clear boxes will allow students to see and organize supplies and have them all in one spot! These should hold their writing notebooks, the pencil and crayon boxes I’ve already purchased, math workbooks and manipulatives for math. They will be easily washable and portable. Thank you so much in advance for helping me organize and stay safe!
