My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher in a Title-1 community school.

My goal is always for them to feel the excitement of coming into school and for them to understand that they can learn in this safe and loving environment of our classroom.

I strive to make their classroom warm and inviting, a place where they will look forward to coming to. My classroom is often their first time in school.

My Project

We are starting this school year like nothing we could have imagined.

I want to try and make it as exciting and as fun as if we were back to "normal".

My students are from low income families. Some struggle with buying their children clothes, sneakers and back to school supplies. For a child with little they they have a new fear "will my friends like my mask?" If they come to school with a throw away mask will they be teased. Please help me give my students a cute mask so they will want to wear it in the classroom. I am so grateful for generous and supportive donors who help my little ones achieve greatness. All the masks in the project will be used in September for my next kindergarten class.

The zip-lock storage bags will be used for isolating each student's belongings(coat, sweater, etc.).
