My Project

The past few years have been difficult for all, but especially our youth. The supplies in this request are so that students can alter how a camera takes images. The prisms and orbs will allow students to show representations of how their world was changed due to the pandemic and the mounting pressures of being a young adult in this ever-changing world. The prisms will fracture images allowing the students to represent themselves as they were and are in the same image. By using the Convex nature of the glass orbs my students will be able to photograph the world both as we see it, but also flipped upside down. By giving my photography students a means for self expression, I hope to support their growth through these changing times.
