This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With these Composition Notebooks, my Language students will be given the opportunity to practice their Spanish writing skills.

One of the strategies I will be implementing is The Dictado as a powerful strategy to develop writing in Spanish.

This is a research-based strategy that has shown great results with language learners. The importance of doing the Dictado on a composition notebook is that I can effectively follow the Dictado protocol of three days in which students can see their previous writing in order to compare and contrast their work and generate significant learning.
