My Project

Our cozy corner needs an uplift! Students need a place that is their size to feel more relaxed and comfortable. Our current center only has one pillow. The students don't have any other sitting area other than the one pillow. Having more seating space, such as the bean bags, rug, and wobble cushions, will allow the students to sit together and practice social skills.

The cozy corner is a place students can go when they feel various emotions like sad, mad, frustration, nervous, or even tired.

Keeping the calming corner inside of the classroom helps the students learn to manage their big emotions. A cozy corner learning center provides a safe place where they can calm down when they're feeling mad, sad, nervous, or experiencing any big emotion. This center is designed to provide children with a place to be if they choose to be alone and away from the noise and activity of the classroom.
