Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The 2021-2022 year will be back in school full time! For most of my students, this will be their first year of school, so my job is to make it the best. Seventy-five percent of the students at my school qualify for free lunch. Every student also qualifies for free breakfast every day. My school is full of great students, parents, teachers, staff, and administration. We work together to make sure each child is getting the best education they can! We all become family!

My Project

This will be the first year of most of my student's lives. After the pandemic and staying home, I want my classroom to be bright and welcoming to them! We need new bright classroom decor to go along with where we live in the desert!

Cactus themed with happy faces and bright colors is what my kids will need to welcome them into kindergarten!

We will also need some basic supplies like markers, erasers, and name place tags to start the year off right! This will be my 10th year teaching, and I want it to be the best year for all my student's to remember. These donations will provide a happy and welcoming learning environment for all my new kindergarten kids. Let's come back with excitement after this hard year for all!
