Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. Many are second language learners. These Scholastic magazines are a wonderful addition to our classroom curriculum and the children love to have a magazine they can take home.

My Big World Scholastic magazines cover a variety of science and social studies standards through the year.

They are printed and designed to attract the attention of my young students. I can teach book handling skills, math skills, reading skill, as well as the science and social studies standards they cover. The online features are a wonderful resource as well. The students just love to watch the videos and play the online games.

Once we have read and discussed the material the students get to take their magazine home to share with their families. The children are delighted to have their own magazine and this extends the learning at home. My Big World magazines are fantastic!
