Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in the RMS concert band continue improving their musicianship and embracing new challenges. This year we are preparing difficult pieces for our spring concert that require trumpet mutes and trombone mutes.

Our school does not have any mutes for trumpets or trombones, and these are needed for proper performance of our music in the spring concert.

The mutes create a special tone out of the trumpets and trombones and playing the music without them when they are specified defeats the desired sound. Your donation is greatly appreciated, and these mutes will be used in other performances in the future.
