My Project

One of the best parts of teaching music is seeing students create and express themselves! I love to utilize musicals, especially in the lower grades, because they allow students to discover themselves in ways not always accessible in traditional classroom settings.

Participation in musicals promotes self esteem, team work and collaboration, and physical coordination.

Participating in musicals also provides opportunities for self expression. Musicals provide children with the opportunity to express themselves and share their emotions through music and acting.
