Musical Triangles for Pre-K Children

I am a music teacher in an elementary school, teaching Pre-K through 5th grade students. My students are very enthusiastic about learning and making music. They love to play instruments and perform their favorite songs. But we don't have enough instruments.

Making music is the most favorite part of the music activities. Our preschoolers are very curious about instruments. They love to listen to the musical sounds, they love sing with the musical accompaniments, they enjoy using instruments while playing a game, and they really love to play the instruments themselves. Unfortunately, we don't have musical triangles in our classroom. If we would have a set of these instruments our Pre-K percussion ensemble will sound much better.

The musical triangles are very simple to use for any age and they are the essential part of any percussion ensemble. Using triangles children can create a musical accompaniment to a story. They can play simple accompaniments to their songs. They learn about shapes and sizes, tone qualities and rhythm patterns. Also, playing percussion instruments always incorporate counting and it is a very important skill for preschoolers.
