My Project

When my students come to music class, they have the opportunity to sing, play, create, dance, and have fun! This project will provide my students with new supplies to be used in music class for many different activities.

All of these materials would help create more opportunities for my students to be engaged in learning and creating!

The inflatable rhythm dice would be used for deciding how many times to repeat something, the Yeti puppet would be used as a fun repeat-after-the-Yeti for drums, instruments, or singing, and the elastic and jump ropes]s would be used for a new activity in our room where students jump to the steady beat! This activity, called Tinkling, or jump bands would also be great exercise for my students. We would even be able to combine with the PE teacher for this unit! This project would also get us 2 light up signs to help make our music room a more welcoming, beautiful environment!
