My choir students need a riser to help position themselves on stage during performances.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us sing our little hearts out.
I am a third grade teacher who, along with 2 other classroom teachers and a music teacher, started a school choir last year. The decision to do so came about in response to cuts to afterschool programs that allow our inner city children to express themselves through the arts. The students have put on some great performances in a short amount of time and we have grown in numbers since last year due to the enthusiasm generated by our performances.
We are have many things that we would like to solicit donors for but risers are first and foremost because of issues with getting all the students we currently have positioned comfortably on stage.
As I have stated before, the riser would be used during our rehearsals and performances to help position the choir on stage. It will ensure that all children can participate comfortably without getting lost on stage due to overcrowding.
Your help will heighten the experience of our performances and allow for us to do more creative things with our students during their performances.
