Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students are some of the most creative, passionate, and fun people that I know. They bring light to our school and classroom with their infectious joy! I feel so privileged that I get to work with every student in the school each year teaching music, watching them grow and learn as they move through the grades.

The items I'm requesting are needed for our community and school performances, and being a part of these performances is a special experience for my students because it's a time they get to show off what they've learned in music.

My goals for this project are to provide my students with the necessary resources to make our performances exciting and interesting! You'll see books, snowballs, light switches, instruments, a projector slide clicker- all things that play a small role behind the scenes of a very large community event.
