This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give me the opportunity to reach all of my students in my transitional kindergarten classroom. As we all know, not all students are athletic, creative, or tech-savvy. Some students are musically minded students. Bringing musical instruments to the classroom allows me to reach those students that have a love for music. Music is a wonderful way to bring learning into our classroom. I plan to use these instruments to teach students rhythm, coordination, patience, understanding and so much more. I love seeing smiles on my student's faces and these will allow me to expand their minds even more.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
