My Students
This past year my sixth, seventh and eighth grade students learned in a completely digital setting. Only about 10% of my students returned by in person to learn for the last two months of school. I want to focus on giving helping meet my students social and emotional learning needs. This means promoting a fun atmosphere that encourages our youth to participate in group sports with their peers.
I strive to empower all my students to grow and be the best that they can be.
I want to give my students a great educational experience and have a FUN experience in our physical education program! All of my students are eligible to receive both the school breakfast and lunch daily for free. Most of our school population takes public transportation. We serve a very large and diverse ESOL population.
My Project
The Turtlebox Speaker will allow us to enhance the outdoor space where our students partake in various games on our upper and lower fields. The portable speaker can easily be transported and relocated depending on where the speaker is needed. The best part....it is specifically built for the outdoors!
The portable speaker will add help enhance our outdoor atmosphere while we motivate our students to be physically active.
Help us fill our fields full of music that will project across the 4 acres of outdoor space that we utilize everyday!
