My Students

Our present music room rug has seen a decade worth of foot traffic and other unmentionable events. We need a new rug desperately!

My kids are from all walks of life with different interests and abilities.

Music is one of the subjects that unites them and keeps them focused on the power of teamwork. I am amazed everyday how they are so anxious to learn new songs and new skills. I want to provide the best learning environment for them.

My Project

With this new rug my children will be able to focus more on the music they are performing and creating than the state of the beat up rug. They have seen enough damage and filth around their neighborhoods and deserve better in school. Everyone knows how good you feel after hearing your favorite song or seeing a piece of art. It is the evidence that all can be good again. People can create beautiful things Music can inspire and heal. My children need to feel normal and healthy again.

Walking into a clean room makes everyone feel better.

It makes the students feel like I am willing and ready to "take them on". Having printer ink allows me the flexibility to reach the students on a visual level.
