My Project

Over 300 students work and create in the CSS Music Room each week. Many students bring with them stress and mixed emotions. To help my students find calm, the CSS Music Room is filled with plants. In particular, we have had two Pothos plants called “Mom” and “Mama”; from these two plants, I have created a Music Room Propagation Station, and last year gave away over 60 plants to teachers for their classrooms and students for their homes.

Let's keep the Music Room Propagation Station going and growing!

This grant will enable another 60 community members to receive a new plant, covering the costs of organic soil and flower pots. Additionally, the grant will cover the cost of watering cans for the classrooms that "adopt" new plants.

CSS students are intelligent, curious, and creative. Plants and green spaces help students regulate their emotions and breathe fresher air. Please help me continue to bring green spaces to my students so they can learn and grow.
