Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I’m requesting will directly enhance my students’ learning experience. Crayons will give them a creative outlet for their artistic projects, allowing them to express their understanding in a fun and engaging way. The large dry erase music staff magnet sheet will support our music lessons by providing a visual tool that helps students better grasp musical concepts. It'll also give them the opportunity to lead and create their own compositions. The handbells and glockenspiel mallets will allow students to experience music firsthand, promoting auditory and tactile learning, while encouraging teamwork and creativity. The Lysol Air Sanitizer will ensure a clean, safe classroom environment, reducing the risk of illness and allowing students to focus on their work. Lastly, snacks will help fuel my students’ minds and ensure they stay focused and energized throughout the day.

I typically purchase many of these items out of my own pocket to ensure my students have the materials they need, but the financial burden can be challenging.

Any support through this project would greatly alleviate that strain and allow me to focus more on teaching and less on funding supplies. Your generosity will directly impact my students' ability to learn and thrive.

My goal is to create a classroom environment that is not only safe and healthy but also rich in creativity and hands-on learning. By providing these materials, I hope to foster a love for music, art, and academic exploration in my students. I also aim to ensure that my students have the resources they need to stay engaged and focused, which will help them achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.

These materials will give my students the tools to unlock their potential and continue to shine in their learning journey.
