My Project

Here at our school of Flushing, Queens, we are in the inaugural year of a brand new music program.

As part of our music program, we would like to integrate a music production program.

In order to be able to do so, we have to raise money to purchase a subscription for 200 sits in Soundtrap, a school-integrated music production program to my class. This price is after the manufacturers of the program kindly gave us a 50% discount.

We will use the program to make beats, original songs, movie scores, and tributes to different musical genres.

We have a full class of students who do not speak English, and we believe having them connect over the language of music is key for their education.

In addition, many of our students are very passionate about Rap, Reggeaton, Hip-Hop and Pop music. We care deeply about their interests, so we want to center our music education around the music they like.

We have no doubt that this program will provide the students with the space and resources to practice self-expression and hone in on their passion for music!
