My Project

I am a passionate first-year music teacher. Having received specialized training in both Orff and Kodály pedagogy, I am committed to create engaging and joyful music learning for my students. Your support will help provide an enjoyable experiences for 380 students in Queens, NY.

Safety and students' well-being: As the weather turns colder, sitting on cold floors becomes a real challenge for my students.

The rug will provide a cozy and comfortable space for them to sit, kneel, or move during our music time. This rug is essential for students to maintain focus and their well-being.

Movement in Music: Music is not just about singing and instruments; we express what we hear through movements as well. Therefore, an safe open space is needed for music making process. The rug will serve an important role when we are learning circle folk dances and also when students are moving to the beat during music.

Engagement and Collaboration: The colorful grids will not only facilitate students' learning but also foster collaboration among groups. With the vibrant colors on the rug, students can easily break into smaller groups which encourages creativity and teamwork to happen in music classroom.
