Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help my music and theater performers with the necessary tools and snacks needed for our performing arts program. I am requesting computer connectors and adapter items that can help with area pickup during productions. These sound connectors and wireless microphones will help our rehearsals and shows run smoothly.

Our goal is for these items to provide an easy way to nurture, comfort and amplify our student actors in drama and musicals.

In addition, we are also requesting snack items and fidget toys for our students to indulge in during our rehearsal time. Our rehearsals are sometimes after school so therefore it would be helpful to have snack items for them in order to motivate and energize them.

We are also requesting fidget toys. These toys work well for students who have sensory difficulties. Students can use them to occupy themselves as they are waiting for their performance. These small items can be used to help them tolerate anxiety, frustrations, boredom, and excitement.

My students are a very diverse group of learners because of the many different types of cultural and academic learners amongst them. Their diversities range within backgrounds, experiences, learning styles, and language differences. I am a teacher who believes in effective planning, organization, and classroom environment, so therefore, this request will help my beliefs come to fruition and ultimately impact my students in a very positive way. Your donation will help us all make a difference in the drama and musical lives of these young individuals.
