This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our diverse community of learners have so much musical potential and deserve a high quality opportunity to learn! Our school is bursting at the seams with space (over 550 students) and we currently have "music on a cart". Music moves from class to class visiting all grades everyday. This makes it difficult to transport musical instruments and supplies to give students the opportunity for musical experiences. This cart will allow our music teacher to bring keyboards, drums, recorders etc around our 3- story building to music class. Additionally we have some exceptional learners with auditory sensory overload. The headphones will help students who want to participate but are sensitive to sound! Help our students be immersed in music as we wait for our larger school to be built!
