Music leads to Mastery! I am a Special Education Teacher in a high needs elementary school in New York City, NY. As a resource room teacher for grades 1 through 5, I provide support to children who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities. My students are bright, energetic, wonderful, talented people, who have unlimited potential!

My students struggle with the memorization of their multiplication facts. Many of them have responsibilities at home such as babysitting younger siblings, or have parents who are busy working multiple jobs, which prevent them from spending the extra time they need to engage in remedial math practice. They love music, so they will embrace these materials in the classroom!

I need the "Smart Shorties" Teacher Bundle, which includes a CD with songs about multiplication, set to popular hip hop beats. I have heard my kids singing these songs so they are sure to memorize their facts after learning these new lyrics in the classroom! Research has proved that music aids in memorization, particularly for students who struggle in the classroom!

I can just see the look at my student's faces....the excitement and motivation they will feel when given the opportunity to learn multiplication in a fun way! Your help will ensure that all of my students learn their multiplication facts this year, despite the obstacles they may face!
