I teach Physical Education (K-5) in a very diverse needs and ethnicity public school.

My students face the obstacles of coming from low SES, single parent homes in an urban community, where their needs are not fully met financially and emotionally.

I need a stereo to play music while my students participate in organized physical activity. I also need blank cd's so that I can produce music that motivates them to give 100% during activity and feel happy. My students love music and they have expressed to me how much more fun PE would be if they could move to music that inspires them! I need batteries and a extension cord because many times I have to teach the students outside because on many days we are displaced from the gymnasium (due to being in a shared school situation).

Your help will aid in changing students' lives by motivating them to be physically active, a habit which will lead to life-long fitness and therefore a health lifestyle.
