My Project

The materials listed in this project will provide an open and flexible learning environment for all of my students. Thanks to donations in my first project, I now have to re-organize pre-existing furniture in my room so students have more space to learn. With incoming lap size pianos, I need to create more space for new instruments.

Currently, all 25 of my ukulele's live in their cases on book shelves, the new ukulele stands will provide more space for new pianos and the ability to safely have them ready to play at all times.

The headphones and piano labels will support my students with special needs who are sensitive to sounds and need additional visual aids in learning. Also, with so many new pianos I need batteries to power them!

The rubber drum stick covers will serve all of my students as we approach our bucket drumming unit this Spring.

The camera will allow me the ability to highlight student learning throughout the year in our classroom. Featuring student musicians every week will boost confidence and nurture community.

Lastly, COVID is still real. Cleaning and disinfecting instruments will always a priority and a financial investment. You can never have too much cleaning supplies!
