This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The beautiful dance skirts and flowers I am requesting will be used for education in Latin dance and culture. Music connects people from all over the world. This is why I believe teaching music from all cultures will make a difference in my students's learning.

My goals for this project are to teach the basic rhythm and salsa to my students in order to perform in front of an audience the skills we have learned.

My students are special because they come from all over the world but have an innate ability to connect with one another and show interest in other cultures.
