My Students

My students need an iPod and a speaker system so they will be ready to sing and dance at the push of a button.

First grade students at our school like all other schools are full of energy.

Our school is a small neighborhood school with under 600 students. The students love to learn new songs and dances. There is nothing better then seeing the children out on the yard singing and dancing to the song they just learned.

My Project

First grade students have so much energy and enthusiasm. They can learn any new concept through music and dance. I have hundreds of educational songs on tapes and Cd's. But trying to find the correct tape and the rewind to the right song is extremely frustrating for the children as well as myself. Have an iPod and docking speaker system will allow me to put all the music in one place for us to have easy access and uninterrupted instructional time.

I love to keep the children on task, engaged, and motivated.

It is so much easier when I only have to push one button and we are ready to go! When I stop and rewind and fast forward I lose precious time and the children's enthusiasm.
