Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Music enhances student's experience and performance in Physical Education! We will use this stereo system DAILY for students to listen to music during warm ups, complete NYS fitness gram, and skill assessments. We will also be using this stereo system to begin a dance team for I.S 93!!

Students love being able to sing along to their favorite songs while participating in warm ups such as jumping jacks, lunges, arm circles, and various other stretches.

When listening to music, students are motivated to move their bodies and their performance is enhanced.

This stereo system is essential when completing the fitness gram. Students listen along and follow directions for pacer, curl ups, and push ups tests. The fitness gram CD paces students through these tests and is extremely beneficial for accurate results.
