Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at this school have never had music before. The goal is to teach them how to play their melodies and music. My students love music deeply and want to learn how to play instruments, but we lack resources. LAUSD does not provide any funding for musical instruments, and the school gave me a very small budget, so I was not able to play class-set instruments.

Any help towards this project would be deeply appreciated by all students.

Each week they have been asking for instruments, but all we have is rhythm sticks and a puppet. Please help us make this project possible
