This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The music students in my school have taken an interest in our new musical ensemble and its on the grow. Its really exciting to see kids stepping out of their comfort zones wanting to learn different genres of music. I love seeing my students engage in activities that are outside of the box. Please help us to make sure each student can participate in our performance group featuring boom whackers with proper equipment to store them away in a neat vinyl casing to Velcro to our wall. We are also needing an additional steel drum with a new crash cymbal to complete our bucket drum ensemble. The students are super excited to be able to display all that they are leaning during our spring recital.
