My Students

I believe in working to provide my students with the very best music education possible.

My pre-kindergarten music students are hard-working, fun-loving, and a pleasure to teach. I want to encourage their love for learning, and inspire them to grow as learners and musicians.

My Project

I would love to give my youngest students opportunities to explore music in new ways.

With the variety of centers materials that I am requesting, I'll be able to provide more multi-sensory experiences to engage and excite all my students.

Some of the activities these materials will provide my students include using Play-Doh and Wikkistix to create musical symbols, using song phrase visuals to help students sequence familiar songs, using LEGOs to create rhythms, and providing a listening center with guided listening glyphs to demonstrate understanding.

I'm also requesting jazz and world music enrichment materials, so that students can gain a strong foundation in learning about music from cultures near and far.
