This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in inner-city schools can greatly benefit from music materials as they offer a creative outlet for self-expression and emotional release. Music education provides students with an opportunity to engage in a positive, structured activity that helps to develop their cognitive skills, such as memory, focus, and problem-solving. Additionally, music materials foster a sense of community, as students collaborate and perform together.

For many students in underserved areas like my school, access to music materials can be a transformative experience, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement, all of which contribute to their overall academic and personal growth.

Please help us obtain a variety of drum sticks, ear buds and hub splitters.
